OATC 2020 Safety Net Seminar: "The Twists andTurns of Schedules C and E" - 6 hrs CE, presented by Annette Saarinrn

Your OATC leadership has developed its first on-demand webinar for our Safety Net class Twists and Turns of Schedule C & E, taught by Annette Saarinen.  We will not be holding our regular classes around the state due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. To cope with this situation, Twists and Turns of Schedule C & E was recorded live on May 12-13, 2020.  The OATC Technology Team took the recording and turned it into a webinar that can be purchased at the regular seminar price of $80 for OATC members in good standing and $140 for all other students.

  • Group attendance (fortunately) is not required to view the webinar. This is a true on-demand webinar which is purchased and viewed individually, when and where the student chooses.
  • Each of the six webinar segments can be paused, then restarted when the student needs to take a break. If you need to leave in the middle and you close the link, however, you will restarted at the beginning of that hour when you re-log in.
  • Within the webinar will be five questions an hour which each student will answer in order to receive federal and Oregon continuing education credit.
  • There are several steps that have to be completed after each student completes the training.  Therefore, there may be up to a two-week processing time to receive the education certificate.  Please allow for this time frame.

  • There is no early-bird or late pricing. This 6-hour class will be available until August 19, 2020.
  • All registrants will receive links to downloadable copies of the handouts.
  • We warmly invite non-members to take advantage of the member discount by completing and submitting our membership application before registering for this seminar.
OATC Members $80.00
and Non-members

Why is the cost of the Safety Net webinar the same as the in-person cost?

It may appear that there are fewer costs involved in creating a webinar than having an in-person presentation. However, please consider the following:

  • Cost of the additional software
  • Speaker is still being paid to develop the materials and to teach them
  • Travel costs exist.
  • The many hours spent on this conversion within the last 6 weeks

Costs & fees will be reevaluated for future webinars when the data can be gathered, and the Education & Executive Council next meet.  Your support of OATC & your understanding of our first-time attempt at using a large virtual format is greatly appreciated
