2019 OATC Super Star Seminar: Real Estate

This year’s education will focus on Real Estate transactions in light of The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. This will involve Like-kind Exchanges and the ins and outs of selling business property through Form 4797. We will look at the principal residence and the office in home to review where we are currently. We will review depreciation to make sure we make the right choices under the new law. We will revisit TCJA especially focusing on opportunity zones. Finally, we will finish with other real estate issues like the real estate professional, passive activity rules and more.
