Welcome!

The Oregon Association of Tax Consultants (OATC) is an Oregon-based, IRC Section 501(c)(6) Association whose primary goal is to provide activities that continually elevate the professionalism, standards of proficiency, and integrity of our members, the licensed tax practitioner community. Organized into local chapters throughout the state of Oregon, the Association’s primary focus is on the education of members via continuing education programs and ongoing dissemination of information regarding tax law, ethical standards, regulations, and the business of serving customers.

OATC Member benefits include local chapter affiliation for education, chapter and state newsletters, statewide website, and association with fellow tax practitioners in your area. As a member, you can attend any regular chapter meeting’s education program for CE credits at no extra charge. You also can attend special chapter or state seminars at a discounted member rate. Non-members are encouraged to attend any OATC event or chapter meeting.  Each chapter determines the fee schedule for non-member attendance at chapter meetings. To realize member pricing for state sponsored events, non-members are encouraged to join OATC before or during any event registration to take advantage of the member discount.

In addition, our members are part of a wide network of professionals with the ability to establish many beneficial relationships with others in the profession. Our membership is comprised of Licensed Tax Consultants, Licensed Tax Preparers, Enrolled Agents, Independent Accountants, and Certified Public Accountants. Please take a closer look at all this site and the Association have to offer!
