This class will cover Adjustments to Income including those line items from Lines 23-35 on Form 1040, plus different treatment for Oregon. We will also look at adjustments affecting other schedules and credits on the individual return, such as gambling, repayments, imputed interest, and personal allocations of business expenses. It will award 6 hours CPE.

COST

  • OATC Members - $95 ($80 if you take advantage of the early-bird discount!)
  • Non-OATC Members - $135 ($120 if you take advantage of the early-bird discount!)
  • Optional pre-printed handouts - $8.00

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations may be made until 1 week prior to seminar, but will be subject to a $10.00 handling fee. Cancellations made less than 1 week prior to seminar will be subject to $25.00 handling charge and handout material will be made available. Attendee substitutions can be made on a like-for-like membership basis or by paying the difference. Call the OATC office and follow up in writing.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Shelli Huston CPA, MS is an Oregon native. She grew up in Molalla, OR, and graduated from Molalla High School. She attended Clackamas Community College, then graduated from Warner Pacific College with a Bachelors in Business with an Emphasis in Accounting. After obtaining her CPA license in 2004, she continued on to Golden Gate University where she received her Master of Science Degree in Taxation in 2011.

Shelli has over 20 years of experience with personal, business, estate, trust and gift tax returns, along with accounting. Her practice has grown to include teaching and writing. She enjoys working with clients of all types and small businesses.

Shelli is passionate about the importance of being the best professionals we can be. This profession comes with an inherent integrity that takes work to uphold. Through her participation in education, she is excited to assist in upholding the professionalism of the accounting and tax profession.
