ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Michael Gordon is a CPA based in Coos Bay,Oregon. He is a former instructor for the nationally-recognized seminar organization, Gear Up, that holds tax seminars in every state, some of the largest and most attended seminars in the tax industry.

Mike loves teaching seminars and has taught for just about every organization in Oregon. When Mike is not teaching, he is working at his Coos Bay office, which has grown to be the second largest firm on the Oregon coast.

Mike’s seminars are ‘low-impact’, ‘low stress’, and LOTS of fun! He always brings plenty of real-life stories and solutions to his seminars, so it’s not just theory. In addition, he focuses on those areas that tend to give practitioners trouble. Thus, new practitioners, as well as seasoned ones, will benefit greatly.

Mike admits that he is weird. He seriously enjoys the tax profession. Mike loves reading court cases, analyzing code sections, and tackling difficult subjects and making them understandable). He always (hopes his enthusiasm for our profession will rub off on attendees.

The only thing Mike likes better is river rafting and riding his big Harley Davidson motorcycle!
